Okay Chris so you wouldn’t tell the church kids during Children’s sermon what your middle name is because it’s your dad’s name…so did I hear you correctly in the last blog you posted (before vacation) that your middle name is Billy….I’m assuming here it’s Christopher William…did I get it right? I promise I won’t share this with the church kids…unless some of them read these responses…I suppose I could have sent this thru our PM channel but listening now to the prior blog about using God’s name to support one’s one theory about their life choices or perhaps saying “I think God is calling you to…,” I loved what all 3 of you said in your comments, but I couldn’t shake the middle name idea you asked of the kids that Sunday. Sorry Chris…if I blew your secret…but Billy or Bill or Willy or William are all strong names, many young men I grew up with in the 5o’s were named such strong ‘warrior’ or ‘kingly’ names. (but just FYI I am not fond of my own middle name either!)
