I know I’m a little late getting to this and perhaps I’m not the first to point this out. If you’ve ever been around donkeys and sheep, you will discover that it is not in the nature of a donkey to fall into ditches without someone placing them in harms way, where sheep will definitely, inadvertently fall into ditches just by failing to notice their being at risk on time. That I’ve even seen happen at a farm I was visiting. So Aaron, please note Matthew 12:12. It’s sheep falling into ditches, not donkeys. Ha! I hope no one is offended by the pointlessness of this correction as it has nothing to do with any theological understanding.
