First off my vote is for Aaron for allowing Brian to try and fill Bro Chris’
seat with a dummy no less.
I too wonder why David killed the young man who only killed Saul because
Saul asked him to. On the other hand could David have killed him because
he brought back “the spoils” of war?
Actually I think Jake should join you theee Jokers. That way we would have 3 Jokers & 1 Dummy!
David did tell the Amalekite that he had raised his hand against the Lord’s anointed. He was very serious about this principle. This was David’s motivation for not taking the throne from Saul in first place. David knew the Lord would deal with His own, and that his time to be King was in the Lord’s hand and at the Lord’s pleasure.
David’s slaying of Saul’s killer was shocking to me. It shouts to me that right is right and wrong is wrong and must be punished. Today we have twisted truth to suit our own opinions and feelings. Good and evil have been perverted. It is imperative that we seek God’s word in all things and hold to God’s truths of good and evil.
