Thank you for leading this study of Romans. It has opened my perception of Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit in an entirely new way. I’m glad for that because it means my relationship with the Lord is still capable of growing. Thanks for showing me that. I think that Wed. night class is smart to have selected Romans 3 over Romans 8 this time. Currently, though, the best verse so far is Romans 8:34. The most painful story in the Bible to read is the literal crucifixion. It never gets easier to read. But Paul manages to remove the unhinging graphics of the story into a single verse, complete with the promise of intercession from Christ. Thanks for pointing that out.
thank you Aaron for sweet unashamed tears about God’s sacrifice of His Only Son for each of us in our sinning because once we accepted Him He never abandons us;
& yes Chris like the dad of the prodigal son he runs to us & accepts his son (us!) with no judgment & that’s a great reminder when i wanna run away from just life as it is today, plus knowing My Bob walked into His Savior’s Arms on 9.23.23:::: what a promise fulfilled & Hope for each of us in Jesus
