Thank you for role modelling how Christ left instructions through Paul and his baby brother, James, for us to grow in maturity. The chairs are the same, and for those of us who have been following for a while, your faces are the same, too. But…your roles are different, just like ours become after conversion. That must have been how the apostles felt after Christ ascended. And
praying over one another is vital; studying with one another is critical. Thanks for enabling us to continue doing that together because it is how we will get to where the author of the Epistle of James writes: “Let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing(James 1:4). If he was Jesus’ baby brother, then he had a unique perspective to train us in those words. Anyway, this study is changing my life in ways I did not expect. And growing up is a little scary in the act itself, but it feels better having people to do it with. So thank you very much.
