I really like what Bryan said, how we are the problem. How we bring anxiety upon ourselves. So Jesus tells us, don’t make your way of living more complicated. Jesus provides a very simple way to live. He simply tells us to trust and seek Him first in our lives.
I was reminded of this just this morning. Paul used the words “In Christ” more than a hundred times.
Only by his grace and mercies can we begin to absorb his teachings. I can remember when I was so new in my walk and he called me! All I wanted to do was open my Bible and just breath him in! Today, I open my Bible and continually remind myself The Lord is in control. I can do nothing without him.
