  1. If singing is a true expression of the Holy Spirit within a Christ follower, how does that reflect on Christ followers with a critical ear and spirit? Shouldn’t the text and the “Spirit” in the delivery be part of the equation?

  2. Here’s the real question: does my critical ear and spirit grieve the Holy Spirit in my life? I can answer my own question; yes!

  3. I once heard a pastor say that proof of the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives is a song in our hearts, thanksgiving, and submission to others. I think that even though I may not be singing outwardly, if I’m aware of these three things in my life I know the Holy Spirit is present.

  4. I love going to the Psalms for prayer and answers to questions. In Psalms 98 and 100 We are told to sing to the Lord. I know that my voice is not a performing one but I do sing from my heart around the house and in my car. Thank you Pastors for all you do.

  5. Stoicism, wasn’t it the Puritans who came to this new land leaving behind the Church of England? Their very name bring to my mind that perhaps there wasn’t a lot of joy in their religious background. In my home growing up I remember nights, after supper, singing around the piano. There is so much joy in singing. Aaron, thank you for your joy and the joy and love of music that you bring to each of us. Looking so forward to the time when theme choir returns….ahhh, what joy. Thank you all.
