  1. Well said guys! You know what gives me hope in this passage? Verse 23…
“At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you…”. To think that at the beginning of our prayers & confessions, that God might be dispatching angels. ??

  2. Thank you, Bryan, for letting us see your own heart connected to the heart of Daniel. You gave me a richer and fuller picture of this devoted, humble man who deeply loved his God and his people.

  3. Having grown up in a church that had corporate confession before each communion, the phrase “Have mercy on me a poor wretched miserable sinner, without hope except for the blood of Christ ” still beats in my heart. Confession and repentance are difficult times of self-searching and Holy Spirit speaking.

  4. Marilyn, you put into beautiful words what I was also feeling. Thank you, Bryan, for sharing your deep feelings about Daniel in his prayer–the deep longing to see his land, God’s land, again and the realization that he might not.
