I agree with my friend Ruth Cameron. I also have HOPE that as we take a view from standing back, to look at today’s crisis & everyone else’s worry and hopelessness, that God sees the bigger picture and we who are His Kids have the Hope that only He Promises us, that He is in complete CONTROL
I am just not that worried, but realize I could also lose loved ones not yet touched by this pandemic, knowing that Jesus Reigns, He defeated the Grave, my grave & one day we will all be with Him in our Eternity.
From the beginning of this pandemic, I realized just how out of control we are of this world. All it took was one month for our entire world to be turned upside down. But I found immediate comfort in knowing WHO IS in control. I can take a step back and look past the beasts and see Him there on His throne. God allowed this to happen. It is not news to Him. All we need to do is trust Him.
We don’t know when Jesus will return. Even Jesus didn’t while He was on earth (Matthew 24:36). But there are some very convicting passages about how we can participate! Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:19, and 2 Peter 3:9, 11-12.
