Easter Re:Verse reading–John 20:1-18 (day seven)

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

It is hard to imagine, but it is true; through His Spirit, God works on our behalf with the same power by which he raised Jesus from the dead. This is true now, as much as it is will be when God raises our own bodies from the grave. We have access to the sin-killing, fruit-bearing, life-sustaining Holy Spirit power right now!

Such sweet news!

If God is for us, who can be (or stand) against us? Romans 8:31

This doesn’t mean we try harder; it means we trust harder! We lean in on God, trusting the promises of God over the allure of sin and the pain of suffering. God is for you! Just like He was FOR Jesus in his resurrection, He is FOR you!

  1. Jesus’ resurrection is proof that God raised Jesus from physical dead body to life. Jesus knew it and He even told His disciples. Due to these clear evidence, we can trust that God can do anything if we ask and seek Him. What we ask must be in His will and His plan though.

If God raised Jesus to life from a dead body, He can do the same for us if it is in His will. Jesus’ resurrection was an amazing fact, hard to believe by unbelievers, but it is the truth. I am confident that Christians believe in this fact and believe that God raised Jesus to life and can raise our own bodies from the grave. By trusting and believing in Jesus and in God, we, believers, will have access to eternity and see God at work in our lives and on our behalf. God is the only one with supreme power and authority. Nothing is impossible with Him and we better believe it.

Jesus’s resurrection has changed our lives from a sinful one to a less sinful one. He is our Lord and Savior. What the world would be like if there was no resurrection of Jesus!! I guess the earth would become Hell!!
