“For it is the God who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’ who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6) It is a miracle of the same order and magnitude as Creation! God who on the first day spoke light into existence, has now spoken light of a different kind (knowledge of His glory) into a different place (our hearts). We who see His glory are a new creation! It gives new meaning to the words of John. “IF we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with Him” (1 John 1:7) How sad if we see God’s glory in Christ and then drift away from it back into the shadows of self-sufficiency and fear. How tragic if our eyes are open only for a moment. Friend, today are you walking in the light?

That would be very sad–Thank God this new creation is ETERNAL. This new light and life last forever and forever to the praise of His glory and grace.
