On Monday mornings, I always read the posted scripture prior to watching the video. After reading Matthew 1:1-11, I wondered: what will be Brian’s overall impression of all these names? Will Aaron find reference to a hymn in this family tree? What did C S Lewis have to say?
Then I watched the video and, as always, was blessed. Looking forward to this study, from Marshall, TX.
Carolyn says that she can relate to Brian’s “weak, hungry, thirsty…depending on God” comments and that she loves you guys.
Oooooooo, you can start a whole new series on this. If we look at the sheer definition of a miracle then the account as a whole is in fact a miracle. From Webster, “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs”. I enjoyed this talk.
When I read this passage, I ponder if Jesus told His disciples about the experience (or if the Holy Spirit shared it with them). God and Scripture guided Him through the minefield, but I wonder if it is helpful for a believer to share experiences of temptation with one’s closest Christian friends?
